24 March 2017 –

Mobility, fleet and leasing experts Alphabet GB Limited today announced its double success at the annual Motor Finance Awards held in Frankfurt. The awards recognise achievements in the European motor finance industry over the past year.

Head of Compliance, Leanne Christmas collected the Motor Finance award for 'Fleet Services Provider of the Year' on behalf of the Alphabet Executive Team.

Jonathan Minter, Editor of Motor Finance commented: "The quality of the nominees entering this year's Motor Finance Awards was extremely impressive. The volume of new products and initiatives Alphabet launched in 2016 showed that one of the market leaders was absolutely not resting on its laurels.

Its corporate car sharing programme and low-CO2 initiative were seen as particularly market leading. In general, judges were impressed with its combination of cutting-edge technology, innovative approach to meeting modern mobility needs and focus on the soft skills and customer focus of its people.”

In addition, during the evening Alphabet’s Customer Service Manager, Kelly Kane also collected Motor Finance’s 'Rising Star' award for 2017.

Jonathan Minter, Editor of Motor Finance further commented: “This award was designed to recognise those who have already been able to display a positive impact on the motor finance industry.

This year, Kelly Kane of Alphabet has made a significant step up in her career, taking new challenges in her stride. In her roles at the company, she’s developed a number of improvements to processes and was described as being ‘instrumental’ in developing a number of important initiatives which have made a real difference.

According to her colleagues, she demonstrates a responsibility, maturity and level of leadership beyond her years.”

The winners were honoured in the awards ceremony hosted by Alfa CEO Andrew Denton. All winners were selected by an independent judging panel, and by Motor Finance's editorial team members.

The 2017 Motor Finance Awards gala dinner was preceded by a day conference that brought together captive finance representatives, banks, leasing companies, automotive finance professionals and industry disruptors in discussions around key issues the industry is currently facing across Europe and globally.
